Living Life In the Spirit.
Guarding our heart, walking in love, remaining in Christ until he comes. For the Love of many will grow cold in the last days, because of lawlessness. What does that mean? How can we ensure that doesn’t happen to us? Abiding in Christ is the only thing that will guarantee that we will remain until He comes. He is the vine we are the branch. From Him alone does sustaining grace come. We work on our relationship with the Father by taking time out to know Him. This is how we abide. Like any other relationship time will distance us if we don’t. Developing an honest and genuine prayer life is key. We need to be able to pour our hearts out to Him, holding nothing back, respectfully. We need to learn to run to the Father in our failures not hide, and quickly do so. So we can start over and move on in Him. In Galatians chapter 5 we learn outside of our walk with God are works born of the flesh, come out of our own evil desires. That are in contrast to the fruit of the Spirit that comes out of our walk with God, that builds are faith in Him, as much as we communicate with Him in prayer through His son Jesus Christ so also it is imperative to remain in His Word. This is how we overcome. This is how our hearts remain steadfast and strengthened in Him.
