“For This You Were Born”
… begins by acknowledging Yeshuah ( the God who saves ) as our own personal redeemer, savior, whose plan to bring the world back to the Father included us. There is no other name under heaven where by we can get “saved”. No other has paid the price for us, for only God Himself, gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes upon Him shall have everlasting life. What more can He do? He gave His all, that we might be delivered from the ravages of a fallen world. Whether we’re broken, or doing quite well, for now, we will never be whole people until we give our lives to Him, allowing our creator to complete perfectly what He started. Saying, “Yes Lord, you can have me, let your purposes be realized in me.”
There is a universal law. In order to advance, you must contend for the ground you gain. If you choose to keep a low profile in life, never rocking the boat – Then life will be less ROCKY, although mundane you can still bank on tomorrow being as stable as your yesterday. For the most part. But if you are seeking to expand, in anything, that universal law will come into play. Most of us live our lives seeking to improve. So, living in a state of contending, even moderately, is a reality for most of us.
The hardest thing to do is to Spring back from battles where ground you have held for decades is lost, all you have worked for reduced to ashes after an unexpected fire fight from seemingly, no where, opens up on you, and you find yourself in a vicious battle to maintain what you once knew was, simply, your life. Yet, isn’t It interesting what we consider honorable in every culture and society, the rising from the ashes? Depicted in our movies, our plays, our ballads, and song of valor; that, still, from ancient times are sung, and rehearsed in our poems, of old. This honorable thing, a warrior down, bloodied and bruised, rising from a war torn battle field to fight another day.
The songs, the poems, the movie scenes that well up pride in our hearts for the courageous warriors that will not give up. Even if they are dragged off the battle field, in the next scene you see them patched up and ready to go again, though wounded and scarred, now a figure to be reckoned with. There is something to be said for those who have been to hell and back, and still find the will to take up arms, and make a go of it again. They have that spark in their eyes tempered with fire. The one who is our greatest example in life did all these things. Remember the lamb has now become the Lion. We, as humans made in God’s image have it in us to war, to live, to die, and live again in the Christ. So it is of no consequence that we, when we didn’t even know him had an inherent drive to contend, and rise again from our defeats, like Him. Sadly, our conquests, more often than not, has been for those things that do not last.
The bible says He was touched by our infirmities, our weaknesses. Jesus felt what it was like to be us, and more so. As humanity has felt the loosing of life, love, and reputation- maybe not for the sake of the cross, or for the sake of principle, nor something they did right or wrong; nor for anything noble, but because the same diabolical foe of Christ, who hates God’s creation has found opportunity to afflict them, in circumstances that create a perfect storm. Most often at the threshold of new ground, where the fight is always fierce at the border lines. For the same reason darkness feared the crowning of the Kingship of Jesus. While the enemy knew the man, he didn’t get the plan, or Satan would never have crucified Jesus Christ.
What he thought defeated the Messiah, was actually a deployment of an intercellular, multi dimensional, campaign, against the gates of hell. That, simply put, enabled Christ to defeat darkness and remove the sting out of death; winning back for us our inheritance with the Father. Something our most valiant heroes on this earth could never obtain for us. Yeshuah has the title deed to our eternal destinies with Him. He walked out of the bowels of the earth with a sparkle in one eye and fearless resolve gleaming from the other, both eyes burning as embers saying I am he that liveth and was dead, but now, behold’ I am alive forever more and I POSSESS THE KEYS OF DEATH and of HELL!
How much more rewarding will life be for those whose loss was for His sake. For all who live in righteousness will suffer persecution. How much more our broken lives will be restored for His glory, when we lay it down at it His feet, surrendering all to Him. All of it, for some it is the crushed pieces of what is left of the wrecking ball that once was our lives. For many that have endeavored to live a good life, most admit for their children, it was worth it all; how much more God has said the same, regarding us. It was worth His all. For God so Loved the World HE GAVE His only begotten son that whosoever believes in HIM should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3 : 16
New King James Version (NKJV)
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
