The Idol Called Opinion

We had a great time on a Zoom call, the night before the morning that I woke up with this word – written in italics below. But, first I want to share a little about what it stems from; we were talking about Paul’s work in Ephesus. How his synagogue visits went as usual, some argued some received. But then after a while, according to Acts 19, those that seemed to have been receiving, started hardening their hearts again, towards his message. To the point Paul threw his hands up in the air and walked away! Taking twelve disciple’s with him that got filled with the Holy Spirit, through his ministry.  It’s not an unusual happening, people receive the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, at first with joy; but inevitably, pride will be exposed and we’re faced with a choice, do we repent and move on? Or, do we cycle back around through the wilderness again, one more time? Never quite arriving to the destination we know is out there for us because we keep stumbling over our own hard headedness just before getting there. For some, this is a reality that has lasted for decades in their life. Like the children of Israel (in the wilderness) a whole generation fell short of the promise land because of their obstinate spirit. After that Zoom call that went late, the very next morning I woke up seeing a swirling vortex of letters as I was coming out of a dream, forming words, that came into my understanding as I spoke them out of my mouth. Still groggy, I wrote them down. When I was finished I was amazed how it even seemed to rhyme. I don’t think a prophetic word has ever come that easy. But this is a hard word! Like honey in the mouth, so sweet, but bitter in the belly. Oh, God this is a hard word! Triggered by reading Acts 19. We seriously need to step back and look at how we stop moving forward in this walk with the Lord, repent and start hating the things he hates. A proud look, a lying tongue. Obstinance, is an objection that we can’t get past often because we’re not going to agree with something that demands us to renounce pet beliefs that have nothing to do with the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus told the Rabbi’s your “traditions” make the word of God of no effect! Splitting hairs over issues of the Law. Endless genealogies, fables and unsubstantiated histories. Theological questions, and emphases on scripture that are sort of right and sort of wrong, that we’ve made an unreasonable stance on. That has more to do with error than truth, but we refuse to back down! Or maybe it’s just pet sins we do not want to let go of, or maybe we just have a hard time with God ordained authority. What ever it is when we’ve got that kind of thing happening to us, where we are being challenged, and some how we find our nose bent out of shape, these are not the days to become insolent! We don’t have time to mess around.

Moving Past Obstacles of The Heart.
It was something in the preaching, something in the teaching, it was a word in the counseling you didn’t want to hear. It touched on something no one likes to see. You were growing, you were blessed, things were changing in your life, and you finally were making strides. The promise land for you, began to come into view. But now you’re at an impasse with God. The cycle of failure is standing at the door. He touched on a thing that took you to your core. Your open hand is now a fist, you’re not moving any more. Pride has to bow, but you wouldn’t bend, an idol (called your opinion) is in charge again.

Acts 19:8 And he [Paul] went into the synagogue [in Ephesus] and for three months spoke boldly, reasoning, arguing, and PERSUADING them about the kingdom of God. But when some were becoming hardened and disobedient [to the word of God], discrediting and speaking evil of the Way, before the congregation, Paul left them, and took [12 newly baptized in the Spirit] disciples with him …

1 Samual 22-23 To obey is better than sacrifice to heed than the fat of rams.

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft,

And stubbornness is an iniquity as the sin of idolatry.

Revelation 2 Ephesus Repent, return to your first love. Do the works you did at first.

Lord Jesus make us more like you, remove it to the core, resistance standing at the door, that blocks my new day! I lay down my old man. My old ways, and breathe in Christ anew! In Jesus name I pray amen!

Send The Ashes To The Wind

imageRather than beginning with a fresh start we often pull out of past failures, by re-building over the rubble of broken dreams, and life altering disappointments. Attempting to re-purpose some of the same material that didn’t hold up in the first place. When our new life begins to settle, we find issues of the heart re-emerging from an unresolved past, that pulls us back into the same cycles we failed in before. The good news is IF WE surrender every splinter embedded in our flesh, and every exception we hold against God in our heart, the force and momentum of true restoration relocates us out of BROKEN TOWN, on to a new and better life, that is truly new and better. Allowing God to redefine our purpose, beyond what we can imagine for ourselves. This resurrects a determination to live on. It FEELS LIKE WE’VE LOST GROUND, LIKE WE’RE STARTING ALL OVER AGAIN, but we are actually overcoming stumbling blocks on the road towards the tangible destination of an overcomer. This is PROGRESS in its truest form. Jesus said: He that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of my God! Let’s set our ashes to the wind, replacing them with the beautiful countenance of those who ENTRUST their lives in God’s infallible care. How do we do that? It’s a simple heart felt prayer: Lord I release into your hands all of my yesterdays, the beautiful and the broken- and entrust to you all of my tomorrows, from white waters to still waters, I place my hope in you. Amen and Amen -deana

The Bud is Yet in The Vine

Repost From the Page:

The Bud is Yet in the Vine

There is nothing hidden that shall not be made manifested and those things done in darkness shall be brought out into the light!   Luke 8:17  God sees the unfolding of the bud yet with in the vine, as well as he sees, and reveals, the hidden agenda’s of scheming men.

Did you know that Jesus said, “The words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life? Therefore the  things of the spirit must be spiritually understood.”

Luke 8:18  Jesus : “So pay attention to how you hear. To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given. But for those who are not listening, even what they think they understand will be taken away from them.”

Divine Pruning- To be subtracted from that we might be added to.

This past year has been the culmination of a season of pruning for those marked for leadership in the body of Christ. All of us who press on into the upward call will find ourselves in and out of these seasons of pruning, where God is removing dead works, and unproductive clutter, out of our lives. Often times, we are so preoccupied with expansion, and growth, we overlook the necessary principles of maintaining healthy, and stable, businesses, ministries, and relationships. This season of pruning, for many, has  resulted in cut backs.  Ministries, outreaches, businesses, and perhaps even a loss of these things, leaving those who have gone through this, a sense of bareness, but it is for our good that the dead things that have no fruit in them are cut away. There are going to be abrupt changes taking place, in so much, that literally we will find what was relevant one day, not at all the next. Looking back a year from now will seem such a faded distance away. Change is in the air. God sees down the line a lot farther than we do. He will get you ready if you’re willing. The baggage we throw our world into, will take wings. WE must put       all our trust in Him.

Those destined to serve in divine government have been sorely pruned. The missing branches, taken out of our lives, and ministry, that we thought would fulfill us, were ill equipped, or incapable of producing what was needed in the governmental authority God is preparing his people to rule in, as we move into  the decades to come.

The weakened, fruitless, or diseased, branches that would betray us under the pressure of appointment, and position, were cut off, to make way for a stronger, and more productive branch, to take its place. Have faith, what seems to be loss is preparation for great gain.  This is 2011, this is 2012. Subtracted from, to be added to, in preparation for  government rule.

Philippians 3:13-14

New King James Version (NKJV)

Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,  I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

The Kingdom of God Suffers Violence, And The Violent Takes it By Force

However, there has been another kind of assault against those marked for ruler-ship in the kingdom of God. And this one is of the kind that David and his men suffered in 1 Samuel 30. It is another kind of “removal or subtraction” and that is one of a healthy limb, cut off, or taken by the enemy. A malicious separation by the thief who comes to steal, kill, and destroy.

In David’s story we see an aggressive campaign to restore what has been stolen, and a lesson learned regarding a militant watch required on the home front, even as we are off in foreign lands working for the Lord. The story of David and his men (that I encourage the reader to review) speaks of those who are left to watch over the home front receiving like honor, as those in the field.

One area that will bring much healing in the body, and already has, is this subject of honor. Giving honor to those to whom honor is due, will continue to be the healing balm of restoration, and unity for the Body of Christ, as we move forward into a new church era.

The Davidian Rule takes back the lost and stolen. It gives honor to whom honor is due, recognition to whom recognition is due. It Sees the part everyone has in the whole, and rewards it. 1 Samuel 30:21-31

A Sum of All Our Yesterdays, the Beginning of All Our Tomorrows.

For the older saints who still have a few years of work ahead of them, they are seeing, what seems to be no end to it, no retirement possible, in the natural, to do the things they wanted to do for the kingdom of God. Their years of spiritual warfare, and the wrong decisions that others have made, feels as if it has taken from them momentum, time, and money … the actions of others impacting what should have been stored up for their latter years.

Now  many are seeing a world that has sown to the wind, and is reaping the whirl wind. The result of sin, and disobedience. How it has impacted there own lives even though it wasn’t from choices they made. As David, they have come home from work, from ministry, from obedience to God, only to find their family members in captivity, their finances depleted, their house, and wares worn out; surrounded by comrades who themselves are angry, and disenfranchised.

The answer to much of this is walking in the revelation that the bear market has nothing to do with the kingdom of God’s economy, but we also, have to remember we are living in this fallen world and the murderer and thief is still at large.

The good news is, Satan cannot win, and even when he does seem to win, that is when he really looses! It is God’s good pleasure to restore to us what has been stolen.

Campaigns To Retrieve the Lost and Stolen

Now is the time to pull all stolen resources out of the camp of the enemy. Calling them out in the name of Yeshuah. (The God who saves) Just as David and his men went after their family and wives who were stolen from them while they were out to war, so there are those in the body of Christ, who have been out doing the Lord’s work and have come back only to find their home pillaged by the enemy. The weakest link in the family/body being zeroed in on to penetrate walls of defense, to get in and raise havoc.

You may not see how it was persecution, but I assure you that for many, that is exactly what it is. You did nothing wrong. A weakness that had nothing to do with you was exploited to the hilt, not because of your wrong, but because of what you were doing right.

Yes, some of us make messy beds we have to sleep in and God is merciful, but this I am talking about is something that would not have been exploited like it was had it not been for WHO YOU ARE.

You will need all that the enemy has taken from you back, for the days ahead. And it is there for you to retrieve, if you will believe. This translates into that which has been stolen from our homes, finances, and families, our church families, and even God’s people through out all nations, for those who are believing for the lost on that level.

Pent up justice, and that thing stolen- from those who have been faithful, is held up for that day of exchange that God has assigned, in a time when it will be needed most. The riches of the wicked, and illegally obtained wealth, is laid up for the just. You have been waiting to long. Now is the time  for you to mount up for battle, and demand the thief to restore all that has been stolen- with interest!

Our Own Experience
A few months ago we did just that, we began a prayer vigil, and stand; demanding what has been stolen to be returned. After a few days of prayer we had a break through. The lord gave me a vision. I saw my self walking through a battle field, nothing was left but abandoned tanks, and burning debris, the earth was scorched. I then came upon an abandoned camp, up next to a mountain. There was nothing left in the camp but smoking debris and broken equipment. I felt that what was stolen in the camp had been retrieved, but my eyes fixed on clefts in the rocks of a mountain side, next to the camp.

I walked over and began to search into the clefts and ravines. As I did I began to see souls coming up from between the rocks, they were missed when the campaign to retrieve the stolen, had previously gone through. I Saw Parcels and a U-Haul Bringing Back the Lost and Stolen.

I have had the lost, and stolen restored before, but this was something else. Much more was at stake than what we could possibly have known. When we obeyed God and began this campaign, we saw the Lord work a mighty work. I saw in the spirit a U-Haul truck full of goods. The Lord said, “In a few days there will be three parcels coming in, little things as a down payment, but behind that is a haul. Keep standing, believing, and praying.” A few days after that my camera that had been lost for a year was retrieved. A couple of parcels came in the mail, items left behind from traveling, another parcel was a financial blessing that restored an unjust loss; as He has promised these three parcels came in as a marker for more to come …

To Go the Extra Mile, To Wait Upon the Lord For One More Hour …

It was there the Lord reminded me of something that happened many years ago. We suffered the loss of a fledgling work of the Lord where people were getting saved, healed, and delivered, and this loss came through betrayal. I began to include that situation in our prayers for the recovery of the lost and stolen.

A few days later came the haul. The lives and souls of precious human beings. I can testify that our prayers for the return of that which has been stolen has measured out in souls. Even a new mission presented itself in subsequent days from this focused prayer for the stolen to be returned. God is an awesome warrior who retrieves the lost at every cost, for He has done that, even to the shedding of his own blood at Calvary, for the remission of sins.

What the thief has stolen shall be restored. Many of us in ministry have been interrupted, or intruded upon by the enemy, the cost has been souls, and I shudder for those who have involved themselves in treachery in the midst of God’s work. But in Christ’s kingdom nothing shall be lost, none of His shall be forgotten. He will go the extra mile as the good shepherd always does, not satisfied that He has secured the 99, he continues searching for that one missing.

What we do in the kingdom of God must be done with intent. Make the decision to try again, go back one more time, take one more search party, lead one more campaign in the spirit. Didn’t Jesus say, “Could you not tarry one more hour?” Could we not go back one more time, try once again, and this time believe for all that was stolen to be restored? Ultimately, that is summed up in souls of lost men and women, and hurting boys and girls.

Many times finances hinder the work of God, yet, He promises us that He gives to us all things pertaining to life and Godliness, those things are available to us to fulfill God’s purposes in the earth. If finances are not coming through, it is not because of what God will not do, or what He has not provided. It is because of what the enemy has done. I don’t understand asking God for prosperity, I do understand telling hell to get off of what God has already given us, to serve Him with.

We must take our authority and exact from the kingdom of darkness those things stolen away and hidden in it. God wants us to take back wealth, time, health, strength, all for souls, all to advance His kingdom. He said, ” I have given you power to tread … The kingdom of God suffers violence, but the violent take it by force.

And how is this done? Didn’t Jesus say, the words that I speak to you are spirit and they are truth? That we war not against flesh and blood but against spiritual wickedness in high places? Are we not to command the night to bow to the day, with a two edged sword in our hand, and the High praises of God in our mouths? Speak as Moses spoke to the spiritual Pharaohs of the land and say, God has said, “Let my people go?” Our part should not be left undone for He has said, “Go into all the world …  these signs shall follow them that believe in my name …” it is up to us to take possession of every realm and dominion, for He has given it to us.

The bud is yet in the vine.

Breaking Base Camp 2:22

 Like Morning At Midnight

We have a lot of voices describing the chaos and the ruin, the gross darkness covering the earth, and great darkness the people. But, few are lending to the other side of that equation. We will walk among them in this world like morning at midnight. Christ in us the Hope and the Glory. Nevertheless, time is running out for those who do not KNOW the still small voice of God, those so acquainted with the shepherd’s voice …. that  a stranger they will not follow. In times of plenty they learned to lean on HIM. Never once trusting in the chariots of Egypt. They are the ones who are moving out, to the front of the line.

… You’re in the habit of running red lights, you’ve done it so much that the stop sign means nothing to you, the light might as well be green – after all, “we are under grace”, they say, over, and over, again. Your ear has been trained upon the voice of your appetites all these many years, season, after season, judgement, after judgement. The smoke from distant troubles rises in the air, but, you say, ” it will never touch me, trouble like that will never come to me,  it only happens in distant lands, in lesser civilizations. Know you not, says The Lord, these places once were great kingdoms in the earth, great civilizations, giving you much of what you possess even now? Assyria, Egypt, Babylon, Greece, and Rome, now a shadow of what was once world domination in their time. Be careful that the light you walk in is not, rather, darkness. World powers rise and fall but those who put their trust in the Lord will not be shaken.

Look at your alliances and allegiance, partnerships and pledges, have you struck hands with a stranger? Seek to loose yourself from those NOT of the kingdom. This is a time to step away from engagements that would yoke you with unbelievers, and the sleepers. The life cord should be detached  from these at base camp. Not on the side of the mountain. This is the Mount Everest of all your days, you are getting acclimated at base camp, and you need to know your limitations and strengths, I am your guide, says The Lord, do you know my voice?  Are you tethered to those who will not cut the line on you? Are you yoked with me, or another? The mountain will reveal your alliance faithful,  but then it is to late, these things need resolved at base camp. In your trial run, on better days, did you not see the frozen monuments of failure, miscalculation, sleepiness, and disorientation, riddling  the landscape?  Forever marking the days of former storms, reminding all who pass by, the cost of simple failures vary.

You lose a glove in the yard, you have a cold hand, you lose a glove on mount Everest, you could lose a hand. Even the guides themselves are found there, in the debri fields of mis-step. But, I am the guide that has conquered the mountain, that will never leave you, nor forsake you. I will carry you when you need carried, I will bring you through to the mountain top. I will guide you through the storm. I will never cut the line. I will bring those with you, but YOU must be tethered to me, and no one else, nothing else.  Seeking to save your life you will lose it, to lose  yourself in me, you will find your life, abundant. Then you shall be the beacon on the mountain top showing those below you the way. Go now while it is early, for the neck of the journey will bottle up in desperation, when those slow to awaken realize, time is of the essence.

The Lord says that  His glory shall rest upon His people, kings will bow … the Lord says to Lift up your heads and look, the anointing breaks the yoke, the heavy burdens so many are burdened down with. In one moment, at His Word … burdens shall slip from off the neck, and shoulders, of those who seek the light, they will see His light upon the Church triumphant, from distant places, deep in the caverns of darkness, and crevasses of depravity. They’ll move toward the light set in great contrast against the night. They shall be brighter than the stars, those who abide in Him, the Living Word.
000

The Lord says that From this time forward many of you will no longer make general blanket statements for the sake of the masses, your words will be surgical, timely, and ordered, executed precisely, the way  the  Lord would command. Knees will shake at the precision of it all,  as hearts will not only be revealed, but plans to deceive you, and to arrange your demise, shall bring immediate judgments. In many cases, while others beside them are left standing, they shall be astounded, they shall audibly cry out and confess their sins. Revelation, knowledge, and understanding will flood into the confessor that will overwhelm some like Paul, who was incapacitated  for days. You will find yourself caring for some in such a state, whose own lifestyle they will have to hide from, in order to stay alive.

While Even now suspicions mar the relationships of many, as do misunderstandings, the Lord will bless His servants with dreams, visions, and supernatural knowings of the motives of others. As New Testament saints were guided by God through dreams and visions to meet and speak with certain individuals, so this same anointing  to know  –  shall be prevalent in subsequent meetings, of the unknowns, in divine appointments. In so much, that you will ask The Lord about the ones He didn’t speak to you about, and this is by design, that He might lead you more carefully; and it will develop in you a more concise walk, in His way, that will uncover the treasures spoken about in His word, treasures hidden in darkness, and it will be those hidden in deep darkness that will see a great light. Is not that light Christ in you … the Hope and Glory?

Today I watched in my watch hour 2/22/22, 2:22 come and go. I remembered Base Camp 2:22 I wrote it 9 years ago. I have no IDEA why I put 2:22 in that title. I can only say God knows. But 2, 22, 2/22/22 and 2:22 have a prophetic significance.
