The Church as it was, came out of the heart of the Father through his Son, manifesting in Spirit filled believers. (Acts 2) His structure and government embraced itself as family, as a fellowship, and a community. It was never meant to become an institution or an organization. When ever true repentence and Spirit led seeking grasps our hearts, and selfish ambition is finally layed to rest, and pure worship is longed for – Jesus truly becomes our first love, His people our people.

Of this family, fellowship, and community, will be all our seeking will ever settle for. Members of Christ’s body will find themselves, and cling one to another. Lord remove from our memory cells the apostate church! Where love is not the motivator. But that which divides the body, and seeks to disjoint them from their king, where the word of God is fragmented behind the walls, that disfigure the body. Where a political, driving spirit, as a disguised imposter, masqurades as a Zeal for God! Such a work seeks to unseat Christ from the throne of the hearts of his followers. To be their lord and god, in the image of a man. To circumvent the purposes of God, while yet in seed form. To seperate them from His counsel. God has come for His own, to receive them unto Himself. Come out from among her and be seperate says the Lord! The body heals, feeds, and restores itself as Christ is the head. That body is not forever sick and dieing. HE came to give us LIFE, and that more abundant! John 10:10 It rightly discerns itself as the body of Christ each part thriving in its purpose.

It is not the remnant that this evil spirit of the age is contending with when the purpose of God’s people is diverted for one man’s agenda; but, the Lord Jesus Christ himself, he is jelouse for His people and watches over his own.

In all of this, if we don’t look hard into our own salvation (no matter what works we have done in His name, and examine what spirit may be driving our ambitions). We too may hear stunning words from the master’s mouth, “Depart from me I never knew you.”

All that he does even in times of persecution, in those times of being scattered, the Father is endlessly working to draw his body into alignment with the Head, the Lord Jesus Christ. Not many heads, but one head, over many parts nitted together. One mind, one faith, one baptism … Bless Him!
