The Body of Christ has elbows and knees just like any body would have. They are the joints that connect the body, that mobilize the seperate parts they are connected too. When a connector anointing joins two different functions together in the Body of Christ, they themselves, enter into that function’s heavenly reward, for being the (connecting tissue of a work) in the righteous acts of the saints. There are members of the body of Christ that bring great momentum to the work of God. Expecially when they understand that they are a connector. Our relationships are not meant to serve us, but to serve God’s purposes. To glorify Him, and accomplish His works in the earth. As much as that grace of God connects people when it is in obedience to the Father.
Unfortunately, when there are hurts and wounds gone un healed, that same grace in a person’s life can work to divide two separate functionalities called to be as one, often with careless words. It’s for this reason we are admonished to pray for one another and show grace and honor to one another even when we don’t fully understand the value of each member’s purpose. As a knee is useless with out its cartilage, the body of Christ is hobbled with out this connector anointing working its part in the body. “Reaching out” and “walking to” requires many parts operating together as one. To discern an extension of ourselves to reach beyond where we cannot, and nourish that functionality or connect it with others, as if it personally and directly benefited us is a Kingdom of God precept. It is also highly rewarded, as a selfless act of Love because we are not necessarily the first in line to benefit from it, in the moment. Yet, it is how Jesus taught us to live our lives. We are not our own, we are stewards of this grace. We do not own it. We will be called upon to give an account of it. Luke 6:33-39 God’s word tells us to know no man after the flesh, but after the spirit. When we have members of the body of Christ cross our paths, as a church or ministry, often times we are so inward focused we don’t see the outward opportunity that has presented itself to help us net fish we could never reach, catch, or process alone. Yet, for some the habit of the body is to not even pray or consider one another in prayer, to discern or perceive “connections” until we understand them. We see how and why this is an important thing to do in the first two paragraphs of Acts 13, (read it with the connector anointing in mind) and this passage below regarding Barnabas operating in the brave way he did to introduce Paul to the apostles. Barnabas was operating in the connector’s anointing.
– But Barnabas took him, [Paul] and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus. Acts 9:27

1 Corinthians 12:27 Now you are the body of Christ, and each of you are a member of it.
