Could it be that most of everything we’ve been taught about “The Jezebel Spirit” is incomplete? And is actually often twisted by the very same darkness that animates her works in the earth? Have books and sermons dedicated to teachings on Jezebel missed the whole point, time and time again? I suggest to you that many of them have, serving to create the same kind of atmosphere that Jezebel promoted (punishing obedience to God) that existed in her day. This operative is bigger than we understand, and is enabling a world movement, far beyond what we could have ever imagined. Many have said it is all about power with Jezebel, I say the word clearly shows us, it is much much more. In fact as there was a kingdom under her and Ahab’s oppression, so most of Christianity, needlessly, suffers the cause and effect of this demonic power. Listen to this podcast by Deana Barnes.
